Breaking news for McDonald's fans! They were testing a vegan burger in Finland rocked the fast-food landscape. Though the burger was only sold in the small city of Tampere from October 4 through November 21, the response was overwhelming.
Scandinavian countries will be the the first who try McDonald's rolling out the McVegan on December 28. "The test in Finland blew all the expectations out of the water," Staffan Ekstam, McDonald's head of food strategy in Sweden, said.
McDonaldโs developers tried out and reviewed over 100 different recipes, with the sole objective of perfecting the first vegan burger, which has struggled to attract millennials with its standard range of burgers.The soy-based patty has been developed specifically for McDonald's by Anamma, a niche food company from southern Sweden. Anamma led quite an anonymous existence until it was acquired in 2015 by Norwegian food giant Orkla, in response to a blossoming vegan trend in the fast-food industry.

Even GOPers were approving of the path POTUS has undertaken thenโฆat least of the rhetorics style, which he so Hollywood-esquely told it in.
All the great plans that could have made him a truly Reforming President, were not completed and so the 44th President of US will most likely remain an โintermediateโ part of American history. That is confirmed by President himself, as he now constantly compares himself (unfavorably) to truly great US leaders, like Lincoln or Franklin Delano Roosevelt.
And I have to agree with him. And the funniest thing is probably that Obama still managed to accomplish pretty big steps during his Presidency. Such as the โAffordable Care Actโ (Obamacare), or achieving some kind of ease of US image overseas. Anyways, the way those great Presidents Obama mentions himself has changed the country is a great comparison.
Remember the Republican response to Obamaโs speech that day? One of the most famous ones was Bobby Jindalโs reaction. He just buoyed the stimulus plan that was just approved by the Congress. Even tried to mock it up, while objecting to spending โ140 million US dollars for something vaguely called Volcano Monitoringโฆโ. The irony is that next month after his words, the Alaskan volcano erupted (just as Obamaโs intentions did) and covered the state for days with thick, 60000-foot ash and smoke cloudโฆ
